I was up late last night, and then up early this morning trying to get some work done AND refreshing my resume. Because you never know when you’ll hear a little birdie tell you of another position that is full-time, year round and pays marginally better. And if the saying is true, "It doesn’t hurt to apply," then why the heck not. Everyone should be up for a little bit of recognition or rejection at any time. It just keeps us on our toes. Not that I want to leave my current job… I love what I do there… but still. It doesn’t hurt to apply and it doesn’t hurt to have an interview in 2 hours time based on only a cover letter type email. Or does it hurt? Yes, this nervousness does hurt. But I probably won’t get it anyway, which will still be fine anyway.
