Do you like? I’m quite proud of it myself.
Also, yes, that’s a BlogHer Ad on the side bar. I’m pretty much done this season so I’m looking forward to a little break and then the blogging. That’s right. I’ll be supplementing my income from the Unemployed Couch Team with my blog. Oh, I guess I just need to build my readership up first again. Since I’m going to be a starving blogger again for a few months over the winter I figured I’d might as well see what I can make. Maybe even 1/3 of the price of next years trip to BlogHer ’08! What do YOU think?
I was supposed to be in Calgary yesterday, today and tomorrow for The Weakerthan’s concert, but I opted to stay home like a good girl. So much to do, so little time before Doug arrives. Yes, Doug is coming for a visit, hopefully to catch the last little bit of Fall before it flutters down to the sidewalks and gets covered with snow.
I’ll be driving Doug back to Calgary, with Mum, Teege and Manny in tow. Manny is a Mexican Exchange Student living here with the family for the entire school year. We are taking him two provinces away to experience The Flat Prairies of Alberta and The Even Flatter Prairies of Saskatchewan. I guess the last time I was home was in 2003 for my Gramma and Grampa’s 50th Wedding Anniversary. Over four years now. Long overdue. It will be nice to see everyone, a joy to celebrate Teege’s birthday with the family, plus the joy of exposing Manny to a Good Old Fashioned Polish Farmer’s Saskatchewan Family Reunion will be priceless.
