back to feeling human again…

And young again. Not that I was old, but my thyroid was doing ape-shit all over my hair, causing many of the hairs on my head to turn a much lighter color… as in grey [gasp!]. So, I dyed my hair today. Dark. Damn dark. As in… black. Just like the good old days.

I’ll show those pigment deficient hairs… [rolls eyes]

Now no one can call me little old lady (not that anyone was). Also, now I match my Dooce shirt! Can I get a Yay? Yay!

Also? Besides Mum’s birthday, the beginning of March also means that mine’s not too far behind. So, here are some things that I have seen around the InnerNet that make me smile (and covet them).

Also? If I had an iPod Nano, I would totally get this.

Also? I have been watching 7 of the 10 hours of CSI:Miami that they have every Friday night (5 episodes, twice) in the hopes of catching the episode where Tim Speedle (Rory Cochrane) bites it (I loved him in Empire Records and Dazed and Confused). They already played the episode earlier, but my luck would have it that I missed that exact part of the show. I saw the beginning and then the end, but not the part where he gets shot. So, the episode playes again. But with all the watching I have done today, I forget the story line in this particular episode. I turned the volume down on the TV to watch the video below and missed it again.

  1. I’ve been covering greys since my early twenties 🙂

Make sure you tell us when your b-day is 🙂

  2. I have a Nano with a 500 song limit. I thought that, since I have satellite radio in my car, I’d only use it for the gym. But now I have a car adapter, and I can’t stop using it. And, last week, I overloaded it. I nearly cried, thinking that I’d have to go through and eliminate old songs. Now I want a bigger one. BEWARE OF THE IPOD ADDICTION! 🙂

  3. Congrats on dying your hair. I am starting to get lots of whites showing through, but so far with the blonde it isn’t too bad, but if it does get much worse I will head to the salon and get my first dye job ever! Glad you feel good 🙂
