constant and comforting…

Well, big day tomorrow. Going Home. Kipling. Windthorst. The farm. Home. The only home that I have ever had. Nothing changes there. Constant and comforting. My Great Grandmother is 98 years old. Can you imagine? 98. I was telling one of the guys at work all about her. He said “I will have to live another 70 years to get that old.” That’s a whole lifetime for some people. The most amazing thing is that she has decided that a Retirement Village is just not her thing. She is fully capable of taking care of herself. She moved back home. The only home that I have ever known her to live in. She has lived in the same half-duplex for at least the last 28 years. They tried to get her to like; she tried it for a month. But she needs her home, I guess. I can’t wait to see her. Back in a few days…
